Danielle Bobrowske, Founder
Danielle Bobrowske founded Sea Whisper Grant Writing to support mission-driven nonprofits dedicated to ocean conservation, restoration, and advocacy. Her work is rooted in a lifelong passion for the ocean and a deep commitment to exploring and protecting marine ecosystems.
Danielle's journey began early, thanks to her father, who recognized her fascination with the ocean and helped her earn her PADI SCUBA certification at the age of 14. From her first dives along the Channel Islands and Southern California coast, she was captivated by the ocean’s beauty and fascinating wildlife.
She earned her B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of California, Santa Barbara, and went on to work as a deckhand and naturalist at the Channel Islands National Park. She later became a U.S. Coast Guard–licensed 100 Ton Boat Captain, working as a Captain in eco-tourism and dive operations on the Big Island of Hawai‘i. Danielle also served as First Mate for a nonprofit focused on spotted dolphin communication research.
A certified PADI Divemaster and FII Level 2 Free Diver, Danielle brings her passion and ocean experience to helping your nonprofit secure needed grant funding. With Sea Whisper Grant Writing, she combines her environmental background with focused strategy to ensure your project will thrive.
Sea Whisper Grant Writing is inspired by Danielle’s 1974 Ericson Sailboat, Sea Whisper.
